Meet Our Staff
Tell me, “What’s in a bio?” I feel a little awkward trying to put to words things that you might think are important. If school is your thing, then I graduated from the University of Alabama…Roll Tide! I also went on to graduate from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University with a Masters in Divinity. But, this is just school stuff. If family is your thing, I have an amazing wife (Shannon) and three beautiful girls (Jackie, Jamie, and Jessie)…oh yeah, and a female dog named Smooch A’Lishious. I have served in two appointments before coming to The Summit, Shiloh UMC and Lester Memorial UMC. They both were amazing places with amazing people who taught me much about God’s love. So, there you go. If that is your idea of a bio you may be content, but I suspect there is more than a timeline to someone’s life? Come to The Summit, and check us out. -Tony follow Pastor Tony
